The True Measure Of Any Man Is The Content Of His Character - I Knew Earl for About 17 Years and He Was My Very Best Friend. I Can Tell You That Earl Had More Character And Moral Values Than Almost Anyone I have Ever Known!

Earl Was A Simple Man And He Enjoyed The Simple Things In Life Such As Spending Time With His Children, Hunting, Fishing, Boating, Working And Repairing Different Things But The One Thing He Enjoyed More Than Anything Else Was Helping Other People.

Whenever Earl Was Aware That Someone Needed Help Doing Almost Anything - He Was The First Person To Offer His Help To Them. He Was Such A Good Person That He Was Aware There Were People He Was Close To Or Worked With That Were "Out To Get Him" Or To "Dis-Credit" Him At Work But If One Of Those People Needed Help He was Still The First Person To Offer His Assistance to Them And Never Expected Anything In Return.

He Helped So Many People During His Short Life That It Was Almost A Daily Occurrence And He Did It For The Pleasure He Received From The Act Of Helping Someone - Not Ever For Expecting Anything  In Return. I Have Never Known Anyone Else Like Him And Being His Friend Was An Honor To Me.

I And Many, Many Others Miss Earl And Think Of Him Everyday. I Am Sure That There Are Those That Are Glad He Is No Longer A Lieutenant At Work Because It Allowed Others The Opportunity To Move Up So To Speak But I believe In My Heart That Even Those People Are Very Sad At The Loss Of This Great Person.

God Bless You Earl, I Think Of You Every Day And I Miss You More Than You Could Ever Had Imagined And I Am Sorry That I Never Took The Time To Actually Tell You How Much You Meant To Me - But "Guys" Aren't Supposed To Do That, Are They?
