May I try the product before I buy it?

Yes. The OsenXP and Vista Suite Trial programs are available for a 30 day Trial evaluation. Customers are encouraged to fully evaluate the software prior to purchasing a software license. Evaluation software may be downloaded from the PSS or OsenXPSuite web site. They are fully functional, and include complete documentation and project examples. During the evaluation period, you can contact technical support here.

How much does your programs cost?
Please follow this link for product pricing of OsenXP and Vista Suite.

How often a new version is released?
Unfortunately, we cannot predict the exactly date when a new version comes out. It depends, on how many changes we need to include to the version, and how the complex is each thing that needs to be included, and so it could take from a week to more weeks. Most of the changes are improvements to the product. You can check the control's release notes for each issue that has been added or fixed. Just count how many were added and how many were fixed, in case you want to ask us how stable is the control. All added issues were reported by our customers, or even non-customers

Can your component be used in VBA ( Excel, Word, ... )?
Most of osenxpsuite components except OsenXPTab, OsenXPListbox, MyContainer, OsenXPFrame, and OsenXPPicture component can be used in a VBA environment like Access, Excel and so on. That component above requires a container interface. Unfortunately, the VBA environment doesn't support container interface.

Are your programs able run on all versions of Windows?
Any of our products run just fine on Windows 95, 98, 2000, 2003, XP, Vista and 7

What are the differences between Developer and Site licenses?
A Site license provides an easy, cost effective way to give all of your developers access to the component. A Site is defined as all computers owned by an individual company at one physical mailing address. The Developer license version just allows you to use XP or Vista Suite on two computers (desktop and laptop).

Can we use ActiveX controls to build applications under .NET?
Unfortunately, you can't use our product to develop applications under .NET.
We just prepared this product specially for Visual Basic 6.0 developer.

I installed the Trial Version of OsenXP/Vista Suite, but am not able to run the installed samples?
OsenXP and Vista Suite installs and registers many ActiveX controls. Registration of an ActiveX control requires write permission to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT OLE registry key. This is a general rule, and it is not an OsenXPSuite rule. Make sure that you install the XP or Vists Suite software using an Administrator account.

How many Licenses do we need and how are your products Licensed?
You should buy one license for each developer. However, one developer license allows one user to install the program(s) on two computers (for instance, at office and at home or a desktop and laptop).

Where can I find out more about payments through PayPay, Share-It and others?
Visit the respective payment Websites and check their FAQ sections.

Do we need to buy technical support and upgrades?
Our products come with free technical support and free updates.

How long does it take to obtain my license details after I purchase a product electronically?
After the registration service receives your online payment or credit card order, it may take up to several hours to authorize your transaction. After your charge is authorized, you will receive an e-mail with download instructions. If your credit card is declined, then you will receive an e-mail stating the reason. If you do not receive any e-mail within 24 hours, then there may be a problem with your order.

What exactly will I receive if the product is delivered by electronically?
You will receive an order confirmation e-mail from PayPal, ShareIt or Plimus and after that you'll receive an e-mail from us with download instructions for the registered versions of OsenXP or Vista Suite programs.

Licensing, Deploying and Distribution

Where in the installation process do I enter the license key?

Once that you have purchased an OsenXPSuite product, you will receive a registered product package. After you have installed the registered version of Osen XP/Vista Suite on your computer, You must run the Request License Key Utility Program (Included) to request a license key (SERIAL NUMBER) for program activation.

Can I redistribute the purchased components with my applications for free?
Yes, You are free to redistribute your compiled apps as many times as you need without any additional fee.

What files do I need to install on the client machine?
Deployment is the process by which you distribute a finished application to be installed on other computers. Before you run your application on another computer, which does not have OsenXP or Vists Suite installed, you should copy the OsenXP or Vists Suite ActiveX Controls (ocx) and dynamic library file[s] on the that computer.

These are the files that you need when you make a distribution package of your software:

mysqlite2010.dll
osenxpsuite2010.dll
osenxpsuite2010.ocx

You can find all the distribution files from the OsenXP or Vista Suite installation directory.
