What is Electronic Service Delivery (ESD)?
ESD means Electronic Software Distribution. You purchase the program and download it through Internet in minutes. E-commerce makes it possible to buy all kinds of services and goods on the Internet. Only a few kinds of products can be actually delivered online: software, music, books, etc. ESD allows you to purchase much the same content, quality and benefits as with boxed software. Instead of receiving a CD you download the software from a server, and then make your own backup copy, which we highly recommend.
May I try the product before I but it?
Yes with the exception of the Database Conversion Tools such as Access to SQLite and Access to MySQl. Most other programs are available for a 30 day Trial evaluation. Customers are encouraged to fully evaluate the software prior to purchasing a software license. Evaluation software may be downloaded from the PSS web site. They are fully functional however some have certain Trial Restrictions. During the evaluation period, you can contact technical support here.
How much does your programs cost?
Please see the Products Section for full details.
How often a new version is released?
Unfortunately, we cannot predict the exactly date when a new version comes out. It depends, on how many changes we need to include to the version, and how the complex is each thing that needs to be included, and so it could take from a week to more weeks. Most of the changes are improvements to the product. You can check the control's release notes for each issue that has been added or fixed. Just count how many were added and how many were fixed, in case you want to ask us how stable is the control. All added issues were reported by our customers, or even non-customers
Are your programs able run on all versions of Windows?
Any of our products run just fine on Windows 95, 98, 2000, 2003, XP, Vista and 7
What are the differences between Developer and Site licenses?
A Site license provides an easy, cost effective way to give all of members of an organization access to the programs. A Site is defined as all computers owned by an individual company at one physical mailing address. The Standard License version just allows you to use PSS programs on two computers (desktop and laptop).
I installed the Trial Version of one of ypur programs, but I am not able to run the program?
Our programs installs and registers many ActiveX controls. Registration of an ActiveX control requires write permission to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT OLE registry key. This is a general rule, and it is not a PSS rule. Make sure that you install the software using an Administrator account.
